

Beth was born May 6, 1930, in Atwood, Kansas, to Pearl and Vern Chessmore. Her education included Pasadena High School, California, the University of Nebraska, and Syracuse University, receiving a BS degree in education in 1967, and graduate work at Ohio State University.
While attending the University of Nebraska, Beth met and married Gerald M. Reagan in 1955. They were blessed with two wonderful sons: Timothy Gerald of Bangor, Maine and Randal Kevin of Lewis Center, Ohio; and four grandchildren: Joshua Reagan, Las Vegas, NV; Kimberly Reagan, Connecticut; Bryan Reagan, Connecticut; and Amie Reagan, Lewis Center, Ohio.
Over the years, Beth and Jerry lived in Lincoln, NE, Battle Creek, MI, East Lansing, MI, Knoxville, TN, Los Angeles, CA, and Syracuse, NY. They have lived in Westerville, OH, since 1969.
Beth was a creative and dedicated elementary school teacher, serving in the Syracuse Public Schools for three years, and the Worthington, Ohio, public schools from 1969 – 1990.
Beth was proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Gene; sister, Phyllis; brother-in-law, Weldon; and sister-in-law, Dona.
In addition to her husband, Jerry, and their grandchildren, Beth is survived by her two sons, Tim and Randy; sister, Peggy Cabrinha; brother-in-law, Ronald Reagan and wife, Jane; sister-in-law, Amy Ebner and husband, Lawrence; sister-in-law, Myrna Chessmore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry and Beth enjoyed traveling, especially to attend Major League baseball games, as well as cruises. Beth was a very creative knitter, making many beautiful garments for family and friends. Beth was a beautiful and wonderful teacher, wife, mother, and friend, and will be greatly missed by family and friends. She requested that there be no funeral or memorial service.
