Barbara L. Chandler

Barbara L. (Hendrix) Chandler, age 62 of Worthington, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Barbara was born in Columbus, daughter of Dolores Hendrix and the late Jerry W. Hendrix. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School, Class of 1968 and went on to retire from the State of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services after 36 years. Barbara was a very independent woman who was extremely generous and loving. She was always doing for others before herself. Most of all, Barbara loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Donald Chandler; sons, Jeremy (Cristina) and Justin (Kandice) Chandler; grandson, William Chandler; mother, Dolores Hendrix; brother, David Hendrix; sister and best friend, Pamela (Michael) Besseck; 3 faithful dogs; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Friday, January 4, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., where funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013.
