Barbara J Haynes

There will be no services for Barbara J. Haynes, 72 of Newark. Barbara was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on December 29, 1936 to the late James Robert and Margaret Louise (Hastings) Croak. She passed away at her daughter’s residence on Monday, September 14, 2009.

Prior to retirement, Barbara was a title clerk with the Licking County Title Department for over 40 years. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #85 in Newark; she also belonged to the Ladies Eight and Forty. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved watching college football, the NFL, the NBA and NASCAR. She was also an animal lover.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Cole of Newark; granddaughter, Ashleigh (Joshua) Barsotti of India; and great granddaughter, Zion Barsotti of India.
