Barbara L. Racle

Barb was a 1947 graduate of Linden McKinley H.S. and worked for White’s Furniture for over 20 years. She was known for her flare, class, sense of style, and wonderful sense of humor. Everyone that knew Barb liked her and thought she was such a wonderful lady. She loved to cook, jazz music, and animals, especially her beloved Hattie.

Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Racle; son-in-law, William Velinoff; and sister, Anna Snyder. Barb will be missed by her loving children, Kay (Kelly Campbell) Velinoff and Jay (Mari) Racle; sister, Nadine McNemar; brother, Don (Pat) Anderson; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barb’s memory to one of her favorite charities; St. Jude’s Hospital or the Humane Society, but most importantly, give someone you love a hug.
