Barbara Jane Salyers

Barbara Jane (Smallwood) Salyers, 83, of South Bloomfield, passed away on March 3, 2022 at Logan Elm Health Care. She was born August 1, 1938 to her parents Frank and Donna (Tharp) Smallwood in Circleville, Ohio. Barb was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts as well as decorating her home and gardens, which she gave so much care to that they could have been featured in a country living and decorating magazine!

Barb is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Salyers, daughter Penny McKnight and daughter-in-law Shelia Salyers. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Donald, Fred, Larry, Edward and Robert Smallwood; sisters Annabelle Feyh, Betty McFarland, and Katherine Williams; special longtime friend Alfred Flack; and fur baby companion Peppy.

Barb is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children Connie “Susie” (Paul) Williams, Charles “Steve” Salyers, Laura Ackinclose, and Candy (Chris) Brust; son-in-law Danny McKnight; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and sister Patty Longberry.

Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Service, 151 East Main Street, Circleville, OH from 11am to 12pm prior to a 12pm funeral service followed by burial at Jackson Township Cemetery, Rt 104, Circleville.
