Barbara Lee Seeger

Barbara L. Seeger, age 86 of Columbus passed away Friday, January 4, 2018. Barbara was born in in Pickaway Co to the late Guy and Thelma Huston and graduated from Monroe Twp. High School. She worked as a supervisor for Nationwide Insurance where she would travel and open regional offices as the company expanded. Barbara served as the Clerk for Franklin Township for 18 years. She was an active member of St John's Evangelical Protestant Church, United Church of Christ where she served as secretary, treasurer, president as well as a long time Sunday school teacher. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward; daughters Lori Seeger, Beth (Robert) McCarty, Robin (Doug) Knaup; son David Seeger; grandchildren Courtney (Ben), Lindsey (Josh), Matthew (Bethany), Aaron, Rebecca, and Jacob; great grandchild Logan. Barbara's family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway where her funeral Service will be held 10 AM Monday. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
