Barbara Webster

Barbara Ann Webster, 76, beloved mother and grandmother passed away on February 20, 2022. She was born on September 1, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Walter and Thelma Marshall. Barb was preceded in death by her former husband Kenneth (Butch) Webster and her one true love, Elvis Presley; her brothers Bob (Bev), and Bud (Sherry). Barbara retired from the Ohio Division of Watercraft after 26 years, and worked as a tax preparer during her retirement. She enjoyed reading novels – usually several at a time, listening to Elvis, exercising at the gym, playing Canasta with friends, and watching her sons and grandsons play in local pool tournaments. There was nothing that she loved more than hosting family dinner every Sunday, and spoiling her grandbabies.

She is survived by her children, Rod (April) Webster, Scott (Kyra) Webster, and Victoria Webster; Grandsons Michael Webster (Lindsay), Wesley Webster (Jenna), Joseph Webster (Melany), Nicolaas Burchwell (Deanna), and Daniel Weddle; her six great-grandchildren whom she adored, Lizzie, Grace, Aiden, Eli, Austin, and Harper; and her pound puppy, Toby.

A memorial service will be held at the Park of Roses, date TBD. The family would like to offer many thanks to family friends for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers please make donations to ASPCA, or the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation. This will mean so much to her as she had a passion for reading and a love for dogs.
