

Bertha Ann Mills, affectionately known as "Auntie" or "Queen Bee", age 59, gained her angel wings on Saturday, September 4, 2021 much too soon. Born April 30th, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ann and Fredrick Mills, and Janet Wiley-King. Bertha is survived by her sisters; Melody (Charles) Gregory, Mellasung Daniels, and Bridgette Wiley, brothers; Mario, Elbert and Brian Wiley, her beloved dogs; Blue, Buddy and DJ, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles along with many dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Bertha is preceded in death by her sisters; Kim Wade, and Thelma Westbrook, brother, Baron Wiley, special nephew, Treasure Wiley, and dear pets; Diamond and Max.
A graduate of South High School, Class of 1980. Bertha accepted Christ at young age. She was a beautiful, funny, and outgoing soul. She loved traveling, shopping, spending time with family and above all having a good time. Known as the life of the party, she had a smile that lite up any room and an infectious laugh. Her vibrant and outgoing energy was unmatched. She never knew a stranger and was a kind heart to all. Not only was she a great person, Bertha was the glue to her family. She had the unique ability to bring everyone together despite their differences or anger. No one wanted to miss an "Auntie Bert" party. While she had no natural children, she served as a loving mother to her nieces, nephews and anyone needing maternal guidance.
Always known as a hard-worker, she created and ran a successful cleaning company Busy Bee's. She also worked for many years as a caregiver for individuals with mental and physical disabilities. She was currently employed with Affinion Group out of Westerville, a job she loved. Bertha was a devoted member of Rare Blood motorcycle club since 1983. She was a shining star and bright presence in people's lives; she will truly be missed.
Family will receive friends Monday, September 13, 2021 from 10AM-12PM following a celebration of life at 12PM at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN FUNERAL HOME, 5980 Perimeter Dr., Dublin, OH. Please share a special memory or send condolences to Bertha's family.
