Betty Jane Angel

Betty was born on January 20, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, to John and Martha Angel. She lived a life marked by kindness, warmth, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone who knew her. A longtime member of Creekside Christian Church, Betty found joy in faith, friendship, and community. She was a devoted and cherished friend, especially to her longtime housemates, Karen Dean and Mary Stark. Through the years, she built many meaningful connections and was loved dearly by her extended circle of friends and family. Betty was an active member of Goodwill and enjoyed participating in many community activities. She especially loved visiting Disney on vacation, attending Recreation Unlimited Camp each year, cheering at Clippers games, exploring local festivals, and watching The Price Is Right. Her enthusiasm for life and simple pleasures brought smiles to those around her. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Duell. Betty is survived by her devoted friends and extended family. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop, 303 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Riverside Cemetery, 3840 Sunbury Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43219.
