Betty K. Bobbitt (Keidel)

Betty K. Bobbitt, age 94, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at First Community Village where she resided since 1999. She was born at home on December 10, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Albert and Dorothea (Thomas) Keidel.

Betty completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1982. She also attended Wittenberg University where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a lifelong member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Bobbitt Sr., infant son, William Charles and brother Jack Keidel. Betty will be greatly missed by her children: A.C.& Nancy Bobbitt, Roy & Denise Bobbitt Jr., Melva Bobbitt & A.P. Ferrante, and Kay Bobbitt & Bill Cooper; Grandchildren and great grandchildren: Courtney & Spencer Gates & Sadie, Alyssa & Ryan Reffitt & Russell, Lindy Bobbitt & Angie McDonald, Erik & Rachel Bobbitt & Silas, Annie Bobbitt & Bobby Gross, Evan & Sarah Ferrante and Emily & Daniel Fahner & Maddox.

Memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church-Lytham Campus, 2300 Lytham Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220, where family will receive friends from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
