Betty L. Burton

Betty Linn (Prince) Burton, age 89, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019. She was born on February 16, 1930 in Long Bottom, Ohio to the late Wayne and Bernice (Ruth) Prince. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by brother, Millard Wayne (killed in WWII); sisters, Imogene Prince, Kathleen Dean (Clarence) and Bertie Lou Polley; and her loving husband, Elmer (Barney) Burton. She is survived by her children, Millie Dorgan (Terry) and Robert Burton (Tess); four grandchildren, Tracy Herrmann (Jason), Andrea Pore, Keagan Burton and Spencer Burton. She also adored her three great-grandchildren, Madison Herrmann, Alex Herrmann and Jack Pore. Also her nieces, Billie Tinkham (Larry), Vicki Breslin (John), Tammy Terry, their children and grandchildren. Betty retired from Ohio Bell, JC Penny and Polaris (Germain) Amphitheater. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed playing card games, traveling, and was inseparable from her twin sister, Bert who passed away last year. A special thank you to Debbie and Michael Fox of Galena Manor Care who cared for her the last few months of her life. Family will receive friends from 2 PM-4 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM.
