

Betty retired from Ohio Bell after 30 years of dedicated service. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need. She had a selfless nature and often put others before herself, never expecting anything in return.
Betty enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved doing puzzles, playing bingo, going to the casino, reading, and traveling. She also had a fondness for penguin figurines and proudly collected them over the years.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles F. Hardin; sisters, JoAnn Kernan and Ruth Gross and son-in-law, Warren Jackson.
She is survived by daughters, Ginger (Gil) Ciaca and Vicki Jackson; grandchildren, TJ, Kassi, Ricky, Monica, Antonio “Boo”, Victor, and Jaxon; great-grandchildren, Tommy, Emilio, and Evita; brothers, Danny (Nancy) Bauer and Raymond Bauer and sister, Linda Fulton.
Family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 pm Friday, September 19, 2025 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
