Betty Ann Heise

Betty Ann Heise, age 85, passed away in the comfort of the home she loved on October 15, 2018. She was born March 19, 1933 in Circleville, Ohio to her parents John Russell and Hester (Peters) Matz. She was a graduate of Circleville High School. Betty loved the outdoors, with apple picking and gardening being her favorite past times. She enjoyed tending to her mums, and was a person who could make her presence known in a room. More than anything else in the world, Betty loved her family. She will be missed dearly by those who knew her.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her son Daniel Heise and the father of her children Phillip Heise.

Left to mourn her passing are her children Brenda Kay, Kathy Lynn, Geoffrey Phillip (Tabitha), and Debra Sue (Rodney); 8 grandchildren; her great grandchildren; as well as many friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 22 from 4 to 8pm at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, located at 151 East Main Street Circleville. Betty’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 23 at noon with Pastor Gerhard Kraus officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s memory to Fairhope Hospice or Sherry’s Country Home, 10835 Kingston-Whisler Rd, Kingston, OH 45644.
