Betty Jenkinson

Betty Jo (Stormont) Jenkinson died March 25, 2011 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 31, 1933 in Columbus to the late William Joseph Stormont and Mildred B. Stormont. She attended Columbia Heights United Methodist Church and graduated from Hilliard High School in 1951. She worked for Lazarus and retired from Motorist Insurance. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joseph R. Jenkinson; children Steve (Debby) Jenkinson, Jeff Jenkinson and Julie (Jack) Green; grandchildren, Amy (fiancé Patrick Raymond) Jenkinson, John (Krista) Jenkinson and Rachel Green; great-grandchildren, Maria and Erin Jenkinson; brother, Robert Stormont, other family and dear friends. Betty enjoyed reading, fishing and flower gardening. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday, March 28, 2011 and 12-1pm Tuesday, at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus where the funeral service will be held at 1pm Tuesday; Pastor Ed Lewis, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
