Betty Lou Keen

Betty Lou Keen, age 78 of Groveport, Ohio, passed away on January 21, 2015 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Betty was born on November 16, 1936 in Logan, Ohio to Raymond and Agnes (Congrove) Fetherolf. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Thurman “Russ” Keen, Sr. Betty was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and developed friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Betty is survived by her sons Rusty Keen, David (Donna) Keen, Jay (Gay) Keen, Scott Keen and Andy Keen; grandchildren TR III, Amy, Dustin, David Jr., Tiffany, Tyanna, Tess and Matthew; and was blessed with many great grandchildren and loved them all; siblings Rama Jones and James Fetherolf; and several nephews. Betty and her husband Russ owned Keen’s Body Shop on E. 5th Ave. in Columbus, currently being operated by their sons. She attended the Groveport Church of Christ in Christian Union where she taught Sunday School for many years. The family will received friends 2-5pm Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 E. State St., Columbus. The family will received friends 9-10am Monday, January 26, 2015 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Chapel, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, Ohio, where a funeral service will begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Green Summit Cemetery in Adelphi, Ohio.
