Betty Louise Knowles

Betty L. (Fahle) Knowles, age 84, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Emeritus at Pinnacle. Betty was born on September 3, 1929 in Bellefontaine, OH to the late Otis and Myrtle (Lyons) Zachariah. She graduated from Bellefontaine High School. She was co-owner of Eagle Power Wash with her husband, Don. Betty loved to volunteer especially at the Heinzerling Foundation. Betty was recognized for her volunteer efforts by winning the Jefferson Award. She also liked doing ceramics, sewing quilts and spending time with her family. Betty is preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Fahle and Raymond Knowles; sisters, Rosella Fahle and Mildred Lamorder; daughter, Patricia Easley and son, Raymond "Bill" Knowles Jr. Survived by her children, Lynette Ratliff, Donald (Diana) Fahle and Kassandra (Charles) Hughes; daughter-in-law, Tracy Knowles; grandchildren, Jeremy, Don, Bob, Brandon, Tyler, Katie, Debbie and Cassie; great granddaughter, Darcy; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, December 6th 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until service at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be 10:30 am Saturday, December 7, 2013. Entombment Greenlawn Cemetery.
