Betty Lou Mitchell, age 82, of Columbus, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Kobacker House. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was the Manager of Ledo’s Lounge during the 1960’s and 70’s. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mitchell; parents Paul and Rhea Marguerite Mason; an infant brother; granddaughter, Nikki Wiles; and grandson, Jeffery Ford II. She is survived by children, Brenda Kowal; Paula (Larry) Wiles, Thomas (Sandy) Mitchell, Jeffrey Mitchell, and Stefanie (Jeff) Ford; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Schoedinger Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Ave; private interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville.
