Betty Jane Myers

Betty Jane Myers, 87, of Grove City, OH, went to be with her Lord and Savior, December 23, 2015. Betty was born in Gary, WV to Arthur and Ella (Collins) Hill on March 25, 1928. She was a graduate of Northwestern Bible College. She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Myers, 7 sisters and 3 brothers. Betty and George were missionaries in France and involved in church planting ministries for over 40 yrs. She is survived by her children Timothy (Patsy) Myers, Renee (Jim) West, Jonathan (Joyce) Myers, Rebecca (Jack) McDowell and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her keen wit, gift of entertaining, and making people laugh will be greatly missed. Visitation will held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 3417 Palmetto Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 with Rev. Brad Rickard officiating; arrangements by Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel; private interment at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mission Fund of Immanuel Baptist Church.
