Betty J Potter

Betty Jo Potter, age 86, of Columbus, passed peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2017 at Kobacker House. She was born July 29, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio to George and Bessie Chenos. Betty retired from Big Bear in 2001. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Potter; parents George and Bessie Chenos; daughters-in-law, Gerri Potter and Joan Potter; and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Susan Anderson, Raymond Potter, and Art (Linda) Potter; grandchildren, Gretchen (Ron) Edwards, Jason (Ann) Dell, Zachary (Rhiannon) Anderson, Nathan (Sarah) Anderson, Nichole Potter, Brian (Sarah) Potter, and J. R. Potter; 16 great grandchildren; and sisters, Nancy Pasicka and Maggie (Bob) Kelly. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2017 at Hope and Heart Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 West Broad Street, where friends will be received one hour prior to the service (9:30-10:30am Tuesday); inurnment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to Kobacker House, OhioHealth Hospice, Floor 31, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215-9519 in her memory.
