Betty J. Wade, age 91, passed away, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Grant Medical Center. She was born on July 26, 1920 in Union County to the late David and Bertha Wade. Betty worked for many years as a nurse’s assistant at Grant Medical Center. She loved life and was very positive. She brought joy to everyone who knew her. Betty will be lovingly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Hamilton and her brother Ralph Wade. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sandra Hamilton Golub, and Sharon Smith; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD.) Gahanna, where the family will receive friends from 2-3pm, immediately prior to the service on Sunday. Minister Ernie Avery officiating.
