

Betty Frances (Rowen) Willis, age 77 of Columbus, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010. Betty was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Frank and Medith Rowan. Also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Willis, and numerous brothers and one sister. Betty was a very transparent woman who was very independent, strong, and outspoken. As long as she had a fishing pole in her hand, some chocolates to snack on, and was wearing her favorite color red, she was just perfect. She loved the outdoors, whether she was gardening or just chatting in the yard with her neighbors, and family and friends will miss her smiling face. Betty was a longtime devoted member of Covenant Evangelical Church and throughout the years they have become extended family to her. She is survived by her son, David Willis; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws; faithful cat, Randi Jean; and many other extended church family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Covenant Evangelical Church, 4001 Stygler Rd., where family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday. Dr. Tony Robbins and Dr. Robert Sayre co-officiating. Interment Mifflin Township Cemetery. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 614-939-4558.
