Blanche M. Orem

Blanche M. Orem, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 4, 1947 to the late Alton and Betty Wells and attended Mifflin High School. Blanche enjoyed her family, collecting Precious Moments, the Cleveland Browns, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She will be remembered for her immense love for her family; and her outgoing, warm, and energetic personality. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Lanny Ross Orem who passed away in 2013; brothers, Roy and Ralph Wells; and son in-law, Dan Weimer. Blanche is survived by her children, Tammy (Jim) Downing, Sandy Weimer, and Lanny Orem, Jr.; granddaughter, Catriona Downing; sister, Genevieve Fetty; sisters in-law, Diana Levette, Carolyn Orem, and Mara Workentine; brothers in-law, Paul (Margery) Orem, and Richard Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 3:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43232.
