Bonna "Bonnie" Grigsby

Bonna "Bonnie" Jean (DiNova) Grigsby, age 84, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on May 16, 2025. She was born on March 3, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Vincent J. DiNova and Wilmina E. Lemming Cramer. Bonnie joins in death her parents; husband James Grigsby; children Dina Wood, Katrina Ostrom, James Grigsby Jr. and Shawna Grigsby; brother Anthony "Tony" DiNova. Bonnie leaves behind her daughter Dana (Mark) Jordan; grandchildren Maria (Andy) Dillon, Anthony Lax, Jeremy (Casey) Lax, Jade Grigsby, Savannah Wutzler, Anna Ostrom, Amber Ostrom, Andrea Ostrom and Tearsa Stickel; great grandchildren Alexis, Chase, Eli, Jacob, Logan, Liam, Wyatt, Leo, Ruby, Kris, Hunter, Audric, Nevaeh, N'Mia and Ares who is on the way. Also surviving one great great grandchild Blaize and sister-in-law Ivana DiNova. She will be deeply missed by nephews, extended family members and friends. Bonnie loved to work her lottery numbers for which she was pretty good at, play bingo and take the occasional trip to the casino, spend time with family and her beloved dog Tico. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Grant Hospitals Palliative Care, New Albany Gardens Rehabilitation and Echo Hospice for their wonderful care and support. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2025, from 10AM to 12PM at Advantage by Schoedinger - North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229 with a funeral service to take place at 12PM. Burial will follow in Berlin Township, Ohio at Cheshire Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made the Echo Hospice, 8050 North High St, Suite 160, Columbus, Ohio 43234 in Bonnie's name.
