He was born on June 3, 1993 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Geri and Brian Bethel, and to proud big sisters Kristin and Stacy. Bradley and family moved to Gahanna, Ohio, in 1994 and he graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School, Class of 2011.
He was a long-time member of New Life Church. Bradley was a very loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had many friends, and those who knew him loved him. We all loved his infectious smile, love for life, and the love he had for us. Brad was very generous and would help anyone. He enjoyed listening to his music, being outdoors, snowboarding, riding his motorcycle, driving cars, being with his nieces and nephews, and traveling. He adored his dog and cat, Optimus and Megatron. He also enjoyed his exciting job as a tower climber. Brad had a love for life and a unique laugh. He enjoyed all types of music, and in high school was a talented trombone player at Gahanna Lincoln Music Program playing in coveted Honor Bands at Capital University, as well as OSU. Our hearts break without him here with us. His 25 years of life was a gift to us but cut short much too soon.
Brad will be greatly missed and is survived by his mother, Geri Bethel and sisters Kristin (Adam) Clark-Bretch and Stacy (Stephan) Bethel Busch; his 5 nieces and nephews Baryn, Lorelei, Landen, Koralie and Duke; grandmothers Irma Gemeny (maternal) and Helen Bethel (paternal). He is also survived by his father, Brian (Barbara) Bethel and sisters Hannah, Maya, and Fiona. Bradley was preceded in death by his grandfathers John Gemeny and John Bethel.
Brad’s Visitation is Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00, and a funeral service will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., both at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. His family will receive guests for lunch following the funeral in the Café at New Life Church, 3690 N. Stygler Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. In lieu of flowers, if you feel led, a contribution to the Make Wish Foundation in nephew Landen Busch’s Honor, would be greatly appreciated. He will be making his trip the end of this month.
