Brenda Mae Burton

Brenda Mae Burton, age 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on September 24. 2021. She was born on November 25, 1960 to the late George and Lillian (Blakely) Burton. Brenda leaves behind her siblings Lileta Burton, Shirley (Vincent) Lyles and George (Linda Kinney) Burton. Brenda also leaves behind her fur baby Cooper, who she loved deeply. Brenda loved to cook and was an avid traveler. She loved and was very devoted to her nieces and nephews. Brenda was very involved in their lives. She also loved arts and crafts and loved working on puzzles. She had a big love of animals. She was very faithful and was a devoted member to her church, The Pottershouse. Brenda graduated from Briggs High School and went on to pursue a degree in medical coding. She was very giving and ready to help anyone in need no matter what. She will be deeply missed by family members and friends. Due to COVID-19 the family requests that funeral services remain private. Brenda will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. Brenda's family would like to acknowledge with heartfelt gratitude the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown during her time of illness and our time of bereavement.
