Brenda Doyle

Brenda L. Doyle, age 78 of Grove City passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in West Jefferson, OH to the late Lawrence and Geraldine Tinkler and attended Franklin University. Brenda loved to crochet, trips to the ocean and shopping, and Hallmark movies. She was an avid dog lover who raised Bichons and German Shepherds. She also loved the color purple. Brenda never met a stranger and would regularly give away items to people when they commented on them, like her brooch or another piece of jewelry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Tom Doyle. Brenda is survived by her children Deirdre (Kevin) Peters, Colleen Doyle, and Thomas (Tammi) Doyle II; she was "Grandma B" to her grandchildren Chelsea (Ben) Dandrea, Ashley (Jeremy) Verne, Brooke (Mark Sumner) Doyle, Timothy Doyle and Riley Peters; great-grandchildren Mark, Matthew, and Kayden Sumner; brothers William (Serina) and Thomas (Veronica) Tinkler; best friend Janet Ruffing; and dear friend and hairdresser Cheryl Hurley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday, March 31 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel 6440 S. High St. Lockbourne, OH 43137. Rev. Fr. Seth Keller, celebrant. Attendees are asked to wear a mask and social distance. Brenda's family would like to thank you homehealth aides Damaris and Phillip for their loving care as well as Mt. Carmel Hospice.
