just wan to send my heart felt condolences. I realize I have said this before, but Brenda was my favorite mom of the 3 that I had. I, we will miss her greatly. This is the only picture I have of brenda and my father.

We do miss Brenda in Charleston, SC. We met her through grief counceling at Grace Episcopal Cathedral and  became fast friends. my condolences to her family and many friends. We will miss her compassion and gentle approach to those trouble by  hardship and sorrow.

I first met Brenda when she was new to St Mark's and learned she had just returned to Columbus after living in Charleston, SC.  We made that connection and enjoyed sharing stories.   I quickly learned that Brenda was an uncommonly gracious, kind, and selfless individual who shared her time with all who were in need, whether it was grief counseling, migrant status, or just friendship.  We also shared a fondness for martinis!   She was a bright light who will be sorely missed by so many, whatever their lot in life.

Brenda was a wonderful woman who made a huge impact on my life.  Memories of her love for family, friends, the underserved, teaching and a passion for making things better for those who are challenged by life.  We had lots of laughter, some tears, great games of euchre and dominoes.  Brenda had a great love for music and always surprised me by knowing all the words, the artist and year.  I will miss you!  However, the impact that you made on others will continue to grow and be part of your legacy.

I met Brenda a few years ago at St. Mark’s church.  She became a friend to me, which is not surprising because she was a friend to everyone.  Kindness and compassion  infused her whole being.  I will miss her, as will the whole St. Mark’s community.
