

She was welcomed by her husband of 34 years, Joseph G. Parks; parents Dople and Bessie Wendell; sisters, Marie (husband Robert) Brant and Gloria (husband William) Gerrard; brothers, Elmer Wendell, Gray Wendell and Marvin Wendell; five unborn grandchildren and her best friend, Anita Temple.
She is survived by her son, Charles J. Parks; Daughter-in-law, Christine L. Parks; Grandson, Joseph D. Parks; Granddaughter, Alicia I. Parks; Sisters-in-law, Alice Wendell and Peggy Wendell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
She worked a DCSC of Columbus for over 30 years.
She knew no strangers; she was a friend to all she came in contact with. She loved unconditionally, forgave unconditionally and gave unconditionally. All who knew her were beneficiaries of that love, forgiveness and generosity. Her imprint on all of their lives will live on forever.
The family had a private viewing at Schoedinger East, Columbus, OH shortly after her passing. She will be remembered by her friends and family at a memorial service at Covenant Church in Shepherdstown, WV, where she was a member and attended when she was home in Maryland with her son and family. The Memorial date is October 23, 2022 at 2 PM in the Great Room at Covenant Church, 7485 Shepherdstown Pike, Shepherdstown, WV. 25443.
