Brenda Lorraine Rosenberry

Brenda Lorraine (Stump) Rosenberry, 43, of Delaware, Ohio died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family Sunday, June 12, 2011. Brenda fought a valiant battle against breast cancer over the past 4 years. She was born April 13, 1968 in Logan, Ohio and was a Groveport Madison High School graduate of 1986. Brenda attended Ohio State University as an ROTC Scholarship student. She graduated in 1991 with a degree in Political Science. She was a member of Alpha Delta Phi sorority. She received her Master’s degree in Health Administration from Central Michigan University in 2008. Brenda proudly served for 26 years with the Ohio Army National Guard rising to the rank of Lieutenant. Colonel. She served in a variety of leadership and staff positions during her career. Brenda was a member of Chapel North church in Westerville where she enjoyed bible study and fellowship. She looked forward to the annual family trip to Disney World. She loved to garden and above all, spend time with her pride and joy-her two children. Brenda was a truly inspirational woman who touched the lives of many, including the young women she mentored in the Army, in business, and in her philanthropical endeavors. Brenda will be missed by her loving husband of 15 years, James W. Rosenberry; son, James W. Rosenberry, Jr.; daughter, Jill Rebecca Rosenberry; father, Merle Stump and step-mother Ruth Stump; mother, Linda Warthman, brother, Michael Sheward; grandmother, Charlene Goss and many relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Friday, June 17, 2011 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Calvary Apostolic Church, 2551 West Schrock Rd, Westerville, Ohio 43081 Pastor. Paul Cook and Pastor James Stark officiating. Interment to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
