Cameron built a life on enjoying every moment with his friends and family and making as many memories as possible. He created a million hobbies to bring his family closer together from jewelry making and woodworking, to kayaking and running 5ks. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and watching beach sunsets as much as possible. His smile and constant humor made everything better. He was always the glue that held everyone together, whether it be family or friends. He never missed a cross country meet or any other special occasion, including Marvel release days with his family. He loved with his whole heart, and if you were his friend, he considered you family. He stood up for what he believed in and advocated for those who needed it. He gave the best hugs and just made life worth living. He fought so hard for a long time, but was thankful for every extra minute he was able to spend letting everyone know how much he loved them. He may have just been a man, but to many of us, he was Superman.
A special thank you to Brandon Gibson and Blake Bratz for loving him and making a tough time a little easier, the Choice Recovery team for allowing his family the flexibility of being there for him during his long journey, and the Lung transplant team and staff at the OSU Medical Center that cared for and advocated for him.
A funeral service will be held Friday August 5, 2022, at 3PM, at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Family will receive friends following the funeral service from 4-8PM. Please share a memory or send condolences to Cameron’s family.
