Carl Hensel Conrad

Carl Hensel Conrad, age 86, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Crown Pointe Care Center. He was born March 26, 1925 in Lancaster, Ohio. Carl was a graduate of Central High School, Columbus, Ohio. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp serving in WWII and worked for Avery Pontiac/Dave Gill Pontiac for over 30 years. He was preceded in death parents, Nicholas and Sylvia (Cram) Conrad; by his wife of 56 years, Georgia A. (Shaeffer) Conrad; and daughter, Donna K. Conrad. He is survived by daughter, Sandra (Joseph) Darnell, Quincy, FL; son, Kenneth (Diana) Conrad, Beach Park, IL; grandchildren, Linda (Scott) Bergmen, Quincy, FL, Karen (David) Liming, Wheaton, IL, Jeff (Tina) Darnell, Quincy, FL, and Shaun Conrad, Cornelius, OR; and great grandchildren, Allison and Zoe Bergman, Quincy, FL and Rose and Maggie Liming, Wheaton, IL; sister, Betty (Ross) Justice; nieces, Tammy and Beverly. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:30AM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Garden of Apostles Section, 5600 East Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.
