Carl Edward Meyers

Carl E. Meyers, age 93, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away peacefully on 26 March 2016. He was born 10 July 1922 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Carl was a WWII Veteran having served in the Naval Air Force as a Tail Gunner in Naval Squadron VB 115. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University. Before he retired he owned and operated a title insurance agency. He was a member of Mifflin Presbyterian Church. Carl is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 68 years, Mildred (Spink) Meyers; son Thomas (Nancy) Meyers; daughter, Judy Meyers; grandchildren Charlie and Heather; several great-grandchildren; sister Hazeldean; brothers Ralph (Gladys) Ron (Cathy), William (Sara) along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Glenn and Sylvia (Morgan) Meyers, Carl was preceded in death by brothers Glenn, Richard, Joel, Raymond, and Paul Meyers and sisters Alvaida Long, Loretta Nolan and Barbara Lewis.
