Carol Barbara Brannon

Carol B. Brannon, age 81 of Dublin, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Carol was born in Zanesville, and grew up in Crooksville, daughter of the late Harry and Irene Hughes. Carol graduated from The Ohio State University and following graduation, she married Dr. Robert Brannon and the two of them went on to share in 59 years of marriage together. Carol was a sweet, outgoing woman who always had a smile on her face. Her family came first above all else and she enjoyed nothing more than being a grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Dr. Robert Brannon; children, Byron (Karen) Brannon, Barbara Brannon and Suzi (Richard) Rapp; granddaughters, Jaime Brannon and Brannon Rapp; brother, Roderick (Susan) Hughes; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial service will be held at 6 P.M. Monday, July 15, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until time of service.
