Carol Ann Levis

Carol Ann Levis, (nee Mihalek) age 86, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother died peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025 surrounded by many family members. Carol is preceded in death by her parents Clara and Frank Mihalek, and brother Frank Mihalek Jr. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Salmi (nee Mihalek), children Maureen Carr, Michael McGreal (Melinda), Karen Tesny and Kelly Modlich (Kris), 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Carol/Mom/Grandma was widely known and sincerely loved for her lively and gregarious spirit, and love for animals, especially dogs. She had grown deeply spiritual in the last several years and maintained a deep devotion to her angels, especially Raphael, to whom she always looked for healing. Carol was very fondly remembered by her children’s friends for being ever welcoming and motherly to all who spent many joy-filled hours at our childhood home on Blythin. After Carol was blessed with grandchildren, she devoted much of her love, time and interest to them while having many opportunities to enjoy their sporting events and musical performances in which they excelled. During the years she lived in Auburndale, FL, many wonderful memories were created during family vacations. She volunteered her time at Give Kids The World Village helping critically ill children. The family extends a sincere “thank you” to her hospice nurses, especially Katie and the staff at Capital City Hospice who worked tirelessly and selflessly to make sure all her days were comfortable. Special “thank you” also to Cory at The Ashford at Sturbridge for his loving care to Mom and her family. Carol will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at Saints Cosmas & Damian Catholic Church, 10419 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will follow directly afterward. Internment at All Saints Cemetery, 480 West Highland Road, Northfield, OH.
