Dear Renee and Family...i am so sorry to hear of Carol passing away...I met Macabobby children when they moved across the street from us...We became close and Carol and Renee would babysit my children...We took them on vacations with us...Lost touch of Carol but Renee kept in touch and it was through the Christmas card I just found out...My prayers are with you and your family....Linda, Mary Lou, Mark, and Frank.

Carol was an amazing person.  We worked at the Memorial Tournament for more years than I care to calculate.  Her sense of humor was unprecedented.  She was a client before she was my friend, but we were friends before we knew it.  She had a habit of never returning phone calls (well, maybe once or twice) so I always preceeded any message with "I know you're not going to return this call, but" & then leave the message.  Carol was an extraordinary person & I'm so sad to lose her.

Carol was my best friend.Without her, Bill and I would have never met.She was maid of honor at my wedding. My family loved her, we all loved her..She will be missed by all that knew her.

My husband & I worked with Carol in the 70's at OSU. She was so much fun to be around. I think of her often whenever I say, "what a hoot!" She taught  that phrase to me when she pinned her shirt tail to my sons diaper (back when there were cloth diapers). I almost ripped her shirt off when she handed my baby back to me. We all laughed hysterically and she said, "What a Hoot!"
She could laugh at herself and she made others laugh. She will be truely missed, but not fogotten.

Carol and I use to joke around in the breakroom at work. She told me how she met Aretha Franklin, so everytime I would see her I would say " Hey Aretha!" and she would start talking like her. I will truly miss her.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Carol's family. She was the first person my wife CeCe and I met when we moved into the house across the street from her 18 years ago. Carol had a great sense of humor and I loved to giver her a hard time when I could. I remember when she dyed her hair a few years ago to a red tint and that was the start of me calling her Red from that day on. We would talk and BS whenever we saw each other. I will miss her. Carol and I worked together at OSU in the mid 70's.  She made the workday fun. She nicknamed me Thelma and that stuck with me until this day.  We worked for several years together in the Ultasound area and also took our national boards together.  Carol made everything so fun. Laughing with her is what I remember well. I was truely shocked when I heard the news today.  My husband Keith and I are so sorry for your loss.  Her family was such an important part of her life.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family .I worked with Carol for 10 yrs at Grant Medical Center we spent a lot of time together both at work and our freetime.I could say a lot about Carol but most important was her ability to make me laugh  and that is a gift.It makes me sad to think that I will not see her smile again but happy to have been her friend. My heartfelt sympathies to Carol's family. I have so many wonderful memories of her laugh and faces she made and those wonderful Slovak(sp) words she threw around way back when. She will be sorely missed by all who had the priveledge to know her.

Carol was a long time patient at the dental office where I work. She used to tell so may stories, from her experience in a Mexican hospital to a watermelon exploding . I am shocked and saddened. This is a loss to the world . I will miss your humor and your stories.    Dianne
