Carole Knapp

Carole Ann Betz Knapp, age 78, of Worthington Ohio, passed away on August 27, 2017. She was born and raised in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Elgin and Mina (Strausbaugh) Betz. She is preceded in death by her husband, David A. Knapp I. Carole, also known as "Granny," was a beloved mother, and will be greatly missed by her two children, David A. (Lisa) Knapp II and Aleta Knapp (Eric Regula) and her four grandchildren, whom she loved dearly: Maxwell (Jillian) Lisska, Arielle Knapp, Hayden Knapp, and Keegan Knapp. She will be remembered by her gentle disposition and quick wit, her love of gardening, her eye for interior decorating, and her fondness for animals. She was especially fond of the baby rabbits that the neighborhood dogs would bring home to her. She would nurse them back to health - and keep them warm in her pockets - all while vacuuming the house. The family would like to thank the staff of Feridean Commons, as well as Kathy Misuik of Always Best Care, who helped take care of Carole and quickly became a friend of the family. A private inurnment will take place at a later date. Family asks that contributions in Carole's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215. Arrangements have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL.
