Carole McCrerey

Carole Ann McCrerey, age 82, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at her home with family by her side. She was born January 13, 1941 in Washington, PA, daughter of Robert C. Beatty and Evelyn Hughes Beatty. Carole was a graduate of Washington Hospital nursing program in Pennsylvania and was a registered nurse and nursing supervisor at Mercy Hospital in Columbus for several years. Carole, along with her husband Mack, were the founders and owners of McCrerey Studios for over 35 years. She will be dearly missed and is survived by her son, Mark (Debbie Ragan) McCrerey; daughter, Jodi (Steve Cooper) McCrerey; grandson, Keaton Cooper; step brother, William “Bill” Gallagher; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. Carole was preceded in death by her mother and step father, Evelyn and Frank Gallagher; husband Mack McCrerey and granddaughter Valorie McCrerey. She always loved a great party, most of the time she was the party. Carole was a one of kind woman who was devoted and loved her husband Mack with all of her heart. She also loved chocolates, especially Hershey, keeping them in business. Most of all, she loved her family, going on cruises, planting flowers and sitting on the porch in the sunshine with a glass of wine.
