Caroline was such a sweet, loving and special person in our lives.  We lived next door to her for five years, she was such a special wonderful person, and will be missed greatly.   A few years back, I purchased an Easter Cake from Daisy's Cake, that was not decorated at all.  We laughed about how plain it was and she volunteered to decorate it for me, and it was beautiful, as all of her cakes from Andersons.  We laughed about our pets, Tucker (my dog) loved Snickers, but Snickers did not want any part of this creature!   We loved talking about our flowers, her craft room, and she was such a great neighbor and will never be forgotten.   We are so sad and shocked of her passing.   My condolences to her family. I enjoyed the times we worked together and the catching up we did. Her opinions and advice were always appreciated. She was just all around a great and wonderful person. She will be missed. For the greater part of my adult life, I had the pleasure of getting to know Caroline Ebright. We shared countless hours in the bakery department at The Andersons.

For many years we toiled away in the same production area. Me at my table preparing product for the following day and Caroline on her cakes. She always seemed to go above and beyond to ensure that each cake was just right. Even if that meant staying a wee bit longer than that pesky schedule asked of her. I would always get a kick out of walking into the retarder and seeing what creation she came up with next. Her cakes were genuinely a one of a kind in artistic expression. I'm sure in the years to come, whenever I am presented with a decorated cake, she will undoubtedly pop into my thoughts in fond remembrance.

It wasn't always all work and no play in the bakery. There were lighthearted moments, and unique conversations were had between the bakery staff. Most of which were work-appropriate... She had a wonderful sense of humor. A random quip would come out of her mouth from time to time that would give me a good laugh. We would also have chats on current events, politics and family. I valued getting her take on things from a more mature perspective.

There are those individuals that truly leave a mark on one's life, and Caroline was certainly among them. I am glad to have had the pleasure to know her. It is with sadness that she leaves us, but she will never be forgotten. I wish her family and friends all the best.

Caroline was such a dear person and friend to all her knew her.  Her spectacular garden, which was only one of her passions.  Her ability to group colors and textures made her garden one of the most glorious gardens in our community.  Once a year she would call her lunch bunch friends and those available would meet on her patio for a candle light wine and sherbet evening, reflecting on the end of summer.  
Her sense of humor knew no bounds.  She could always chortle at a good joke and come right back with something funnier.   We recall her winning the “best hat competition” hands down, at a Kentucky Derby party a couple of years ago.  Just put her decorating sense to good use..roses and all.
 Her artistry with cake decorating was amazing.  She once decorated two cupcakes in the likes of my two Westies including “bones” on the collar of one.  After retiring, Caroline discovered the joys of the internet.  She was fond of looking at cake and cookie decorators who had showed their creations, she loved floral designers and because of her beloved Snickers, cat videos, which tickled her funny bone.  She would gladly share all of these great finds with her friends.  Caroline will surely be missed and just as surely remembered.  God bless and grant her peace and rest.  Joy Cowgill
