Caroline M. Hopkins

Caroline "Mukish" Hopkins, age 42, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She was born December 10, 1974 in Nairobi, Kenya to her loving parents, Raphael Kariuki and Victoria Wanjiru (Chege) Ngondi. She graduated from Moi Girls Isinya High School in Kenya and earned her degree in Hotel Management from Michigan State. Family was very important to her. She enjoyed bowling, watching movies, and travelling. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Marcus E. Hopkins; children, Ruthie McKenzie, Marcus D. Hopkins, Michael Hopkins, and Amina Hopkins; siblings, Alice (Bonface Karonjo) Ngondi, Stephen Ngondi, and Kathleen (Jeremy) Manyara; sisters-in-law, Molli (fiancé, Brian Jones) McDonald and Tammy (Jeff) Abahazi; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio where funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
