Carolyn Palmer, age 93, of Whitehall, Ohio passed away May 14, 2016. She was passionate in her work at (CDC) Columbus Developmental Center for over 30 years. Carolyn was born in Greenup, Kentucky to the late Tavis and Bessie Allen; also preceded in death by her husband, George Palmer; son Delbert Clark Jr.; sisters Mazie Grubb and Mary Freeman and stepson, John Palmer. She leaves behind her sons, Fred (Joyce) Clark, Ron (Evelyn) Clark, Don (Shelia) Clark; stepdaughter-in-law Sue Palmer; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will welcome friends 5-8pm Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where services will begin at 1pm Thursday; interment to follow in Arlington Field of Honor; Pastor Glen Stern officiating.
