

Carolyn was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She was a hard-working woman and retired from Chase Bank, formerly known as Bank One. Carolyn was a free spirit, who was welcoming to all, and always ready for an adventure. She loved the mountains and would often take trips with her family. Her recent passion was reading, going through a book a day. She truly was an incredible woman with a bright presence.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Deb) Palmer, Betsy Palmer, Chuck Palmer, Susan Greenhalge, and Matthew (Laura) Palmer; sister, Nancy (John) Pawlowski, 13 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years Paul Palmer, and her parents; Guido and Olympia Patacca, her aunt Angela Rita Fresco, and her sister Ann Marie Pizzurro.
A special thanks to Jeremy Janoski, Jim McNeil, Virginia Palmer, Chelsea Palmer and Casey Palmer for their devoted love for and care of Carolyn.
Family will receive friends from 5-8PM on Monday, May 18th at SCHOEDINGER NORTH FUNERAL HOME, 5554 Karl RD, Columbus, OH. Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending. Private family service, following entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
