Catharine E. Startzman, age 88, passed away Monday, January 18, 2010, at the Hospice of Dayton. She was a devoted wife and mother. Catharine is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jennie Shaw. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas; son, Jeff (Cathy) Startzman; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Ian) Buchholtz and Christopher Startzman; and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Buchholtz. Family will receive friends from 11-12 noon, Friday, January 22, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, January, 22, 2010 at Kingwood Memorial Park. Andrew Hoover, officiating. Donations may be made to the American Red Cross in Catharine’s name.
