

Catherine Cassini Clark, age 96, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at her home, October 10, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born February 15, 1928 to Dirce (née D’Angolo) and Gus Cassini in Rock Island, Il.
Catherine was a 1946 graduate of Hughes High School, in Cincinnati, Ohio and a 1949 graduate of the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital during the polio epidemic and taught Chemistry at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, School of Nursing. She was a resident of Mansfield and Granville Ohio, moving to Columbus after her children were grown. She was a Cessna pilot, an avid tennis player and dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Catherine will be greatly missed by her children, Stephanie Cassini of Columbus; Tracy (Martin) Bricker of Plano, Texas; Jay (Donna)Thabet of Leesburg, VA; Rick (Suzanne)Thabet of Boca Raton, FL; and Mike (Emma)Thabet of Cardington, OH, her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was proceeded in death by her brother, Dr. August J. Cassini, of Cincinnati.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Interment at Saint Mary Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
