Catherine T. Dickson

Catherine T. "Katie" Dickson, 87, of Westerville passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was born May 3, 1930 in Columbus to the late Thomas and LaVonne (Walker) O'Brien. Katie was a 1948 graduate of St. Mary's of the Springs High School and a 1953 graduate of Mount Carmel School of Nursing. She retired from nursing in 1991. She attended Christian Life Church in Westerville and was a member of Clintonville Women's Club. Katie enjoyed euchre, bingo and Bible studies. Katie is survived by children, Terri (Ron) Fuller, Ken (Beng) Dickson, Linda (Jeff) Nice, Judy (Frank) Schneider and Brien (Robin) Dickson; grandchildren, Melissa, Joe, David, Amanda, Jeff, Glenn, Tammy, Amy, Kevin, James, Christine and Nathan; 6 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law John Dickson; sisters-in-law Pat (Hal) Morse and Marie O'Brien; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Dickson and her son, Robert "Bobb" Dickson. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 5:30-8PM and Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 10-11 AM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM.
