Catherine E. Harris

Catherine E. Harris, 93, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. She was born December 26, 1921 in Wellston, Ohio to the late William and Catherine (Ramsey) Perkins. She was a West High School graduate and was retired from the Maramor Candy Company and The Deshler Hilton Hotel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, George Murnane, Sr. and Taze Harris; sons, George Murnane, Jr. and Robert Murnane; stepson, Doug Harris; granddaughter, Mary Kay; 7 sisters; and 1 brother. She is survived by her children, John Murnane, Sandra Frye, and Lorraine (John) Robertson; stepchildren, Judy (Jack) Ledbetter, Kathy Harris, and Jim (Carla) Harris; 34 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday.
