Catherine Marie Hunter

Catherine was born in Newark, Ohio on May 7, 1954 to the late William H. and Catherine (Hoffer) Hunter. She passed away on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Heath Nursing Care Center.

Catherine was a devoted homemaker and she especially enjoyed spoiling her five grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, going to yard sales and was a true animal lover.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Hunter of Newark; five grandchildren, Katelyn, Kayla, Catherine, Samantha and Bernard Jeremiah; special friend, Bill Young of Newark; two sisters, Rosemary Gall and Annabell (Dan) Miller all of Newark; one brother, Robert (Kelly) Hunter of Frazeysburg; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, William H. Hunter.
