

Catherine (Kathy) Leah Shrewsbury, 78, who was born and raised in Westerville, Ohio and lived 26 years in London, Ohio with her beloved husband Lewis Everett Shrewsbury, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in her residence at Harmony Trace in Hilliard, Ohio with her family by her side. Born June 9, 1944, she was the daughter of Corwin and Lucille (Freeman) Harris. Kathy had a long career as a manager with Payco American Corporation before retiring in 2006. She enjoyed spending time on and by the water and was an avid boating enthusiast with husband Lew. She especially relished gathering with her large, close-knit family, cooking and baking. Kathy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in London, Ohio and Phi Beta Psi Sorority. She is survived by daughter and son-in law Deborah and Tom Fischer of Columbus; son and daughter-in-law David and Lisa Clutter of Long Beach, NY, and son-in-law Mike Dolby (husband of deceased daughter Susan Dolby); sister and brother-in-law Judith and Stan Hildreth of Westerville, OH; sisters Lynda Nevills of New Albany, Ohio, Marlene Heltz of Mansfield, Ohio, Shirley Gobin of Jefferson City, Missouri; brother Clarence Clapham of Columbus, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service celebrating Catherine will be held at 3 P.M. Friday, October 21, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd. where family will receive friends at a reception following the service lasting until 6 P.M. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and aides at Harmony Trace in Hilliard, Ohio for their loving care of Kathy.
