Cathy I Coons

Cathy was a graduate of West Jefferson High School class of 1982. She also followed her passion for Drafting at Paul C. Hayes Technical School. Cathy followed many job paths throughout her short time with us. Her favorite job was working with the public. Cathy was a member of the Church of God for many years and was a lover of Jesus and His people. She served her community with food deliveries up until her health restricted her. She was our family's Chatty Cathy! Cathy's favorite thing in life was being a mother and a grandmother. In between, her love for K-Pop and Youtube cat videos. Her joyfulness, humor and charisma will be missed.

Cathy is preceded in death by parents Harvey and Hazel Coons and best friends Sandra Arthurs and Terri Coons.

Cathy will be greatly missed by her children Tyann (Tristan) Mowrey, Kyle (Alyssa) Reese, Chyann (Stephanie) Coons; grandchildren Logan, Clara, Bailey, Maisey, Lacey, Riley; siblings Linda (Dallas) Sumner, Mike Coons, Patty (Larry) Ratliff; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 4-7 at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204; where a service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorial contributions may be made in Cathy's names to go towards the funds for the funeral. The family also requests all family and friends to bring your favorite picture of Cathy, written memories with Cathy or notes to family.
