She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Steven Sharp; and her beloved dogs, Candy and Callie.
Cathy is survived by her sons, Chad (Annie) Stevens and Cyle (Victoria) Stevens; her grandchildren, Clark Stevens and Atiya Stevens; her sisters, Debra Cowgill and Nancy Terry; many nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Zoey; and many other relatives and friends.
Cathy was born on November 9th, 1954 to Winston and Betty Sharp. She was one of four children. She entered the workforce at the age of 14 and dedicatedly worked until she retired at the age of 64 from Diamond Innovations. The dedication that she showed in her professional life, paled in comparison to the dedication she had to her family and friends.
Cathy was an amazing mother and Mimi. She made sure that every holiday was celebrated to the fullest especially Easter and Christmas. On Easter, she made everyone an Easter basket, not just the grandkids and she filled it with things she knew they not only need but loved. On Christmas, she tirelessly worked for many days to make treats for not only her family, but for her friends and neighbors as well. She loved to spread the Christmas spirit and joy to as many as she could. But her selflessness did not end with the holidays, it continued with every aspect of her life. She was always there to help in any way she could. From working two jobs to put her son through college to watching her grandkids full time. Her grandkids will cherish the memories of all the fun they had with her. From going to the parks, to breakfast at Bob Evans, to family trips to the wilds. Every toy and special she would get, just to see a smile on their faces. We could go on forever about the amazing things she did and how will cherish every memory we had with her. She will be missed tremendously and will never be forgotten. Her death has left a void that will never be filled by those who knew her. She was our rock, our constant, our everything. We Will Love you now and forever
