Cecil M. Collins

Cecil M. Collins, age 62, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 after a lengthy illness. He was born June 27, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ellis and Frances (Prince) Collins and will be remembered as a good-hearted soul who truly loved life. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his brother, Melvin Collins of Florida; sisters, Rosemary Nix of Pataskala, Maybelline (Robert) Watts of Mt. Sterling and Patricia Ann Collins of Hilliard; nieces and nephews, Sherry, Stan and Steve Watts, Dwayne, Ken Ballard and Cheryl Collins, Greg and Pete Nix and all of their families. He will also be missed by all of his golfing buddies and his West Worthington Post Office friends. Myrtle Beach just won’t be the same without Cecil. Graveside and committal service will be held 12 Noon on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, OH 43119.
